You really put great work into that cape! The flapping was so detailed jumping and falling.
May I ask either of you if the cape is posted here? I'm keeping a collection of Classic Hero inspired designs (http://opengameart.org/content/jason-ems-classic-hero-edits) and don't see it on anything. I also skanned Dezras profile but didn't see it.
Do you have a link? Not a big deal but I would love a more complete collection.
Oh, ha! ha! No rush at all. I still need to go through and make sure original artists are properly cited and was thinking about adding a few more colors as well. Probably will be a day or two at least.
I'm no lawyer, but the US Copyright Office direction suggests that, as the derivative artist, you only control what you add to the original work unless the original is public domain:
The copyright in a derivative work covers only the additions, changes, or other new material appearing for the first time in the work. Protection does not extend to any preexisting material, that is, previously published or previously registered works or works in the public domain or owned by a third party
I also have some VERY basic recolors of the long-sleeve shirt, pants, and tabard/jacket for men. Nothing special, just adjusted hue/saturation to get some more variety.
They're formatted to fit the sprite generator output (including oversized animations). Interested? If so, I'll add them as resources and put them into the "missing assets" collection. Pretty sure all are licensed for derivatives but I can pull any that aren't.
PS -- I see you already put the glow-swords up....nice!
Cool thanks a lot for the resources. These will come in handy in some of my other projects too.
Oh, ha! ha! Must be my ADHD
I'm happy to keep the collection -- these are my main placeholders and I also have them in some completed personal projects.

Your game is fun!
Noticed one thing: the shoes appear to be stacking on top of pants and robe bottom. They should probably be in one of the bottom 2 or 3 layers.
Everything else looks great. Well done.

Again, I'm no lawyer, but that seems consistent with OGA policy and that the derivative artist would have to remove all original pieces and re-submit.
