Reminds me of Lemmings. Looks quite good.

Where do the tiles come from that are used to build the 4th image (the green and purple one)?

Here's a rough, single-layer Space Merc Redux edition. In day desert, night desert, and ice planet variations.

The background is CC0. For the stuff in the mockup see https://opengameart.org/content/space-merc-redux-platform-shmup-tileset

Oh, interesting! Looks like a more cuboid Minecraft-style sort of build would probably suit this way of using them.

Here's the version of the Space Desert background used in the mock-ups on this sub. This is OGA-BY 3.0.

Sweet! You probably don't need the actual file to be enlarged though. And the preview file could probably do with being only x2 or x3 enlarged so that it fits onscreen when you click on it. AFAIK the only reason to use a huge magnification in a preview is if the original is very small, to try and reduce the blurring that the main site views do to it when displaying the thumbnail. (Which still isn't very effective, but I do it anyway)

Is it hand-dithered? I'm 50-50 on whether this one is hand-dithered, because it tends to be about as difficult to get an algorithm to produce dithering exactly like that, as it is to do it by hand.

That's nice!

That's nice!

No lowercase letters?

Cute!

Cute!

Something is a little odd about the door and chimney, but the roof looks great.

Here's a mockup scene that I did and then forgot about showing this art with some of the Space Merc Redux tiles.
