At the moment it's too easy and tedious, because the player character can fly. Faster sideways motion (because coins might be far away from the nearest block of their colour) and some flying enemies to dodge would be the most immediate improvements.
Here, knocked this (CC0) up to show how it was designed. It's a 100/100 distorted oblique perspective. Doubt that I would try to use this exact scheme again, the cut-aways are too troublesome.
Another Redshrike monster which would help give Ginger something to do.

This guy isn't 64x64 in any way, but it sure deserves to be an enemy in some RPG games.
