theres is a pretty good assest for spaceships made by Skorpio, why dont upscale everything resolution? its made to run on a cell phone?
Im no 2D artist, but i can tell you have something solid running there; why dont you show examples of what you want? even if its a photo of some scifi movie, someone may get motivated to expand the LPC with that theme.

Yuo can use most of the creatures from open dungeons as enemies(converted to ogre even), ancient beast also has very good monsters
