You should reconsider your license choice if you want attribution. Public Domain basically means you're relinquishing all control over said IP. CC-BY is the license you're looking for given your instructions.
Seconded, would appreciate this in a format that is not bogged down by patents. FLAC or OGG preferably.

It certainly has a similar style and one could say is inspired by it but I don't think it's close enough to constitute copyright infringement.
Sounds like something that would have come straight out of Phantasy Star 2. Nicely done.
This sounds an awful lot like something out of Final Fantasy 9. I know it isn't, but it's certainly got the right feel.
