You have only included two of the many necessary pieces of information to have a shot at getting a good response: you've specified medium and payment status. It's good that you have included those, but you need to give more details if you're going to have a shot. Things like: genre, style, resolution, why things already in the OGA gallery aren't adequate, etc.
I appreciate your willingness to share your assets. However, there are a couple of things that will make it a lot easier to browse the gallery and find these in the future:
first, please wait until an asset is pretty much finished to upload it, and if you need to make minor changes make an edit to the original post. Second, please also group closely related assets into the same submission. This makes it a lot easier for devs to find everything and also avoids clutter in the gallery.
Alas, you have to expect delays in forum responses here.
Doing LPC animations is definitely a pretty big time investment, though of course you can always just expand the base and say others can expand the equipment. It might even work. But it's probably not something you'd want to jump right into off the bat.
Not necessarily the best, but it's an option. Walking or running would probably be a good start, though any animation at all would probably be beneficial.
You'd think. I used a google search of the site to root out a lot of the backlog, but it's not all soundcloud. There are plenty of other similar like-adding services that are offered (twitter etc). I think soundcloud might just be more likely to get through because of the number of legit soundcloud links on the site?
Search has been busted in various ways for quite a while. It was towards the top of Bart's to-do list, but something must have held it up. If I happen to see him on the IRC I will ping him about it.
We kicked his ass to the curb a while ago. I don't think he's a troll, in the sense that he is sincere in being a total jerk.

Great! Welcome, and pleased to make your acquaintance. Have a look around and make yourself comfortable.

Just make sure it's Surt you're crediting, not me :)

I do have a random, non-animated sprite which is pretty basic if you'd like to have a go. He's located here: http://opengameart.org/content/15-minute-character-sprite

As Evert said, yes. All you have to do is give credit as specified.
