I took a good look around the site since I obviously have way too little to do, and I found that there are so many good assets in every genre imagineable that is feels kinda worthless for a mediocre artist like myself to contribute, seeing as pretty much everything has been covered in a better way - so it's like where do we go from here?
Do any of you feel the same way?
(Lol it's so obvious that I've got nothing to do) XP
I agree with you, I also think there's something very inspiring about this building style, in a town near where I live there is a huge early 20th century former psychiatric hospital complex, I had to go see my psychologist there and it was always kinda awe-inspring and, as hinted by your title, seemed brutal XD
for some reason it says on my youtube channel that it doesn't have any content. But there is some, you just have to go to either the "videos" or "playlists" tab, if you're interested.
Can you give me some examples of the style you want? Should they be from a side view or top down perspective? Isometric maybe?
@vlzvl I'm skeptical about whether every indie game can make money. That's what I meant ^^ but don't listen to me :P
@vlzvl I understand, and I'm always skeptical about that sort of stuff, so I might not be the best person to judge.
Now we're getting off subject again;

@vlzvl
I did watch your youtube video of Darkness Below. It looks nice and is very clean in style!
But do you really think it can make money?
@katastrophic what are these courses? They must be a really niche market.
But I don't know if I would classify the building complex I was talking about as pure brutalist, it's probably more neoclassicist actually.

You're probably right, I've never tried it so I wouldn't know.
