You might be able to get enough from those links so that your game doesn't look quite so "patched" and then fill in the gaps with either simple re-colors or through resource requests.
Thanks for all the great submissions - most of the sounds on this site are really only for games (for obvious reasons) but I think your work also fits in well with movie/TV/AV presentations.
I have to concur with @foz on uniformity, because, as a player I don't think I ever even noticed/appreciated good shading, but I ALWAYS noticed careless or inconsistent work.
@furk - The wizard sprite is from Warlock's Gauntlet - they have more art from the game here on OGA: https://opengameart.org/content/warlocks-gauntlet

Good luck!
Holy crap this is freakin awesome
(pardon my French)
OK, I see now. At first I thought background 2 was a mock-up. My bad.
Well done, by the way. I really like the shading.
Q: it says parallax backgrounds, but I don't see any layers on background2. Do you have the sky, clouds and/or mountains on a separate file?

Well done.
I can see a lot of uses for this. Skip the first 16 frames and you have a hatching alien egg or failing/failed containment field/chamber.
Excellent work.
You might be able to build this (or something very similar) in the LPC Sprite Generator: http://gaurav.munjal.us/Universal-LPC-Spritesheet-Character-Generator/#
(btw: Gimp is free and used a lot by indie artists - I'd recommend taking some time to get familiar with it)

LMFAO @ "Hand Egg"
Be nice. Making skins that were cobbled together from ripped sprites/textures is how I got started in game development.
That said, this submission would probably be better served as a forum post asking for feedback/tips....such as proper scaling.
