Do you mean loading a page is slow, or interacting with an already loaded page is slow (aka "laggy")?
I have the first one: 4-5 seconds load time, but once loaded, there is no problem.
If this is the issue, I really think it has nothing to do with CSS/JS as they are client-side, I rather think it is either the server not having enough CPU to handle all the php/whatever processing or not having enough upload and sending data slowly.
To me it looks like it is the server's CPU, as during the first 3 of those 4-5 seconds, my browser says "waiting for opengameart.org" and only the last second it says "transferring data..."
I'm a game programmer, just do a little web development though, thus I might be totally wrong!
All the pieces you recently posted carry a lot of emotion, they have a really high quality and are not repetitive at all. They fit their theme perfectly, thank you a lot for posting them!
You are talented.
Nice collection. Most of the models look like high-quality and like they use a lot of polys and subsurf and that fancy stuff that won't work in games. There seem to be some lowpoly tough.
I think the main point is that most artists don't know about CC-BY-SA and co, while most programmers know about GPL and co. That makes a huge difference already!
Hi,
I'm sorry, he sais he hasn't enough time at the moment.
A friend of mine is a 2D artist who makes great images. I'll ask him if he is interested to do some (and if he has the time).

Ok, thanks anyway, great contribution you made my day
Wow, that is great, exactly what we need :)
Do you have any plans to texture them? What did you create them for?
There is no such thing as The Best. Just use the right tool (language) for the job. To answer such a question we at least need to know the job.
Also, if this isn't for game programming, it is quite off-topic.
