License - If you intend to sell your game and don't want license surprises after release. Having proof of purchasing a valid license in your favor could alleviate a potential headache of someone claiming ownership and demanding royalties.
I have purchesd assests from various asset stores, as well as used art from OGA.
@WithinAmnesia, I have no skills pertaining to the arts, but I do have a deep interest in game engine architecture and am interested in the programming side of RPGs. If you provide a URL to the code repository, I may be interested in joining your project to work on the code.... but, that would depend on the state of your code base, as well as the programming language, 3rd party APIs and code convention.
Not sure if I understand what you are tring to do exactly, from a software side: There are many anti-aliasing techniques used in software / hardware. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing
As for pixel art, I presume edge bluring. Gimp has a anti-aliazing filter, maybe that would help to "check" if your manual pixel editing is similar to an algorithm?
Debian has Version 0.19-2 of Flare avaiable, you could pull the debs from there. Although I agree a newer version of Flare available in Ubuntu would be nice.
I've always thought this site is pretty awesome, I find it extremely intuitive and user friendly. I think the creator of this site did a fantastic job, and I am very grateful for his efforts. Since you don't feel the same way, maybe there is a flaw somewhere? I am curious as to what makes you post such a statement. How about some constructive criticism? I get the feeling I am just feeding a troll.....
I have an interest in random map generation, and it is always interesting to see how other people generate random levels, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to see how your map generator evolves and grows in the future.
I apologizes for the delayed response. After a fair bit of googling, I finally found a way to donate! Instead of sending Eruos, I sent USD instead, and the payment then went through. :) Was not sure if it would work, and as such I donated $10, hope it helps, will see about donating some more next month.
Some amazing stuff on there, it must have taken ages to put all that together. Thank you so much for giving to the community, I will surly make use of your awesome sounds one day! :)
Boom Shaka nailed it, although I might add:
