There seems to have been a positive reaction, I saw at least some of their uploads getting updated with mp3 versions and they sound good/ok (so I guess timidity on my system just has a bad setup)
Oh I see, I listened a bit to the "original" and I think I can see some similarity in the structure but this definnitely sounds like an original creation to me. I wouldn't even write "remix" but "inspired by".
To me, making a remix means that I have the source music in tracks or that I use a released track's soundwave directly to modify it with the original music clearly noticeable in the produced remix. Sorry for the confusion but to me, you saying 'remix' and having their name in the file name even made me sure of it.
You might want to clarify how you would like to be (I know it's optional :) ) attributed though. Deva, Gryzzex or Xenocity?
Did you get permission to share the remix under cc0? Does the original creator know about this remix? International copyright law makes it so that the owner of the original owns copyright of remixes.
Hey, you uploaded this as CC0 here, can you please clarify what makes you think the track is CC0 licensed? I want to use this but just realized that it was a 3rd party upload and that the source doesn't state license.
When I try to listen to this with timidity, it sounds amelodical and unfinished. Perhaps you cound upload an mp3 or ogg version so people can listen to the (soundfont) version you intended it for.

Thanks for clarifying, the "he" and "his" in the description at the time of writing made me think Deva is not the creator.

love this one as well! How do you make them? Apparently on the gba?
Very cool!

Wow! How many polys/tris is this? :)
Awesome! I took the liberty of adding a part-preview of each track! :)
