It'd be nice if message notification could be in the header with the user info as per defacto standard, rather than in already cluttered sidebar and at top of content area (but then I'm not keen on any of the content area notifications, always seemed rather anti-AJAX, my preference would be a notification count in the header with the user info and a timed drop-down).
The HTML5 anchor (<A> element) download attribute can solve this.
eg:
<a href="oga.ogg" download>Download OGA.ogg</a>
I tried <a href="http://opengameart.org/sites/default/files/Collapse.wav" type="audio/x-wav; length=56710776" data-fid="70331" target="_blank" download>Collapse.wav</a> and it worked for me as expected.
The png should be indexed so the palette should be stored in the file. If I remember I'll dump the palette to pixels later.
EDIT: done and switch to CC0.
EDIT2: started reworking this some, but grew bored when I got to here.

There are plenty of free actual 3d car graphics. Just render them at the angles you need.
In my experience it has seemed that the search has only looked at the contents of the description while ignoring the title and tags.
The GPL states: "You may not impose any further restrictions on the exercise of the rights granted or affirmed under this License."
If the contents of the Copyright/Attribution Notice are meant to apply on top of the GPL then they are invalid.
If they are an alternative licening option then they should be fine but you should probably make that more clear.

Awesome stuff.
It is downloadable. I just downloaded it. Now I can finally make my dream Mario game without fear of legal action from Nintendo.
