Egads, you need it by Sunday but asked for help on Saturday??? At this point, I'd have to agree with @Invincible and recommend Scratch over GameMaker...if coding breakout took a week then you won't be able to make sense of any template created for you.
As a father myself, I'd also have to agree with Invicible about the helping part -- you're really doing him a disservice by doing this part of the project for him....even more so if it doesn't get done on time. Let him sink or swim on his own.
The tone of your background strings is very similar to suspense/horror movies and some of the transitions sound like the build-up to a "scare" scene.
Like mold said - it's a nice piece, but not all that "relaxing". When I hear it I imagine an underwater or possibly zero-g sequence where somebody is strugging to maintain control of their gear but ultimately fails and succumbs to their environment.
If it's just static background, you only have to make 1 - just make it the size of your room and seamless/scrolling.
If your player and other game objects will be interacting with it, then you'll need a "ground" object. In that case you'll probably want to make it the same size as your room grid - makes for easier placement.
1) Ground blocks and tree/hedge patterns look great. Well done.
2) I can see faint pattern lines in the green back - maybe smudge or moving your seam/splice lines over slightly?
3) I think your trees and shrubs have enough contrast against the background tiles already.....they may not need such a hard outline. Have you tried softening it a bit? Maybe a darker shade of the base colors?

Still, as a courtesy, you might want to clarify that you did the animations only and provide a link back to the original.
Nice...looks compatible with Jason-Ems Classic hero too! Adding to the collection.

I guess you can try Heartbeast's RPG tutorials and just watch the ones you'll need: basic movement, dialog, etc.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB2alpO62GM&list=PL9FzW-m48fn2ug_FSNnfoz...

Skeleton army is awesome. Great set of graphics at a very reasonable price.
Really impressed with your work, Keep it up.
Cool, think I'll try your games on my tablet.
Keep up the great work!

This is very impressive for practice work. Are you selling any assets anywhere? Anything in a game we may or may not have played?
