I am not that good at music, but to me it sounds pretty good so far. I like the beginning most, and I don't know how you could improve it. Sorry for this unhelpful message :)

Also, if you want to make 3D graphics you should use OpenGL and OGRE (Rendering engine). Google both of them and you'll get tons of tutorials.
I will probably use them (in the far future) also for item icons: all sort of orbs. They are just perfect!
