About the robots, as I wrote in the email... I am slow and not very motivated to work on them. I hope I will find the time to finalize them over the holidays.
Hmm, I probably will not be able to work on it the next 2 weeks unless I find the time tomorrow evening... no promises, but I hope I find the motivation then.
However I have felt the same way as Blarget2 a few time myself.
Maybe it would be a good idea to pack a few of these kind of submissions into a larger pack and remove the original ones from the database? Something like this could be combined with the collection feature, which is missing a "download all" option anyways.
So what I am proposing is that you can make a collection with "less than ideal" submissions, and an admin can than mark the content as to be removed and "reuploaded" as a combined pack in order to clean the database.
Which mech?

Seems like we finally have a serious contender:
https://bitbucket.org/ccxvii/ryzom-assets/overview
https://github.com/ccxvii/asstools/
Haven't got them to import in Blender yet, but it seems like this guy knows what he is doing (I hope).
Having the full set of characters and animations in a blender importable format would be huge!
Edit: and I just learned in the RyzomCore IRC that someone is also working on a direct blender NEL3d importer and exporter :D
Edit: got it to work... was just to stupid to download the .iqes from bitbucket! THIS is HUGE!
seems cool, how about adding the 3D source file and maybe dual licensing it also as CC-BY-SA?
Not sure I like the animation, but otherwise it looks great.
that 9worlds stuff is interesting... the 3d "sprite" texture is done with a shader?
I assume you are not planning to take this further?
Sorry, as I said, I can't work on it until mid of next week as I am not at my home PC for the time being.
If you want to release a new version, don't wait for my mesh.
