Wheel is missing though,a wheel.obj that was lying around (either my own export or one of yours(?)) was offset on the new texture.
I'm not sure how fast I can finish the ther two svgs and I will have to create new wheels for seat and evo, as well as probably add some shading to the seat. I will try to get *something* until the end of the month.
Hm.. it might be good if the wheels had different textures on the two sides (although they're probably used in an incompatible way for that purpose in the game.. so nevermind :) )
I will have to try to use the nimrud template. There might have been some problems and there's the advantage of having a pre-existing texture, which is known to work - this makes it much more easier for me by being able to imitate key coordinates and positions of nodes and labels.
Thanks, farrer! I recommend using pixel measurements in Inkscape.
Some info about the textures/cars: I invented brands and car model names to replace the real ones:
"Evaluate Pi" by "Tex Technologies"/"Tex Technologies Sports"
"Cordon" by "Rotor Automobiles"/"Rotor"
"Fox Mark II" by "Iron Precisions"
The whole context of the game is an event called "TRI" or "Trigger Championship". (Maybe "TRC"/"Trigger Rally Championship" would be better).
Ads are open source program or library names. Real logos are being avoided. There's a freesound ad on the Cordon and there will be an opengameart ad on the Fox.
" * to include my name "Ville Seppanen" in the credits list in the application/game and everywhere else where the creators/contributors are listed"
My interpretation is that the author simply didn't want to only reside in a text file and wanted to be included in credits lists on the game's website and the game's in-game credits. I don't think this changes the license. "everywhere else" is ambigious to me.
Adding a name there will in our case suggest a connection with the project.
I'm sure this depends on the wording.
As far as I understand the situation, you have different lists of different contributor in differen part of the proejcts. I would either merge all the lists or make sure there is a descriptive link from each of these lists to all of the other lists.
Link titles could be for example "List of art asset credits used in GAMENAME", "List of active/direct contributors to GAMENAME".
No, the summary text is not specific enough for the license to be interpreted as "the author has control of any marketing of a work that contains their work". In fact there is no "author can chose attribution" statement in the legal license text, although the author can decide whether their name or nick and/or website/email is shown.
and everywhere else where the creators/contributors are listed
this clearly means "everywhere in the game".
I assume this doesn't include a list of authors/contributors that sits on the projects wiki
What list of authors/contributors on the wiki? The wiki contributors? Or a game contributors page on the wiki? If it's the first, the two are unrelated. If it's the second, then I guess all the credits in-game, on-website and in-filesystem should be pretty much be the same (I can only recommend linking to the in-filesystem credits page from the website, see http://trigger-rally.sourceforge.net/ for a simple solution).
As for "connection with", "sponsorship" and "endorsment": as long as you don't claim that the author made their work for your project, you're not doing any of these things.
Example: "Made by X" vs. "Made by X for OURPROJECT"
Thanks farrer,
I think I managed to put the eva/evo svg into place:

EDIT: screwed-up textures are fun! http://blog.wolfire.com/2009/04/always-initialize-your-memory/

I love this track!
The real-piano (sorry, I have no clue what I'm talking about) feels out of place to me presonally.
How did you make the track? If it's a tracker song, it'd be cool if you uploaded the tracker file!
Cheers
Do you have a list of file names? I'm sure we (probably using google search + "site:opengameart.org" can help you. :)
Thanks for taking giving credits seriously!
Thanks for this great track! We put it into Nikki and the Robots and it will be in the next release (first one to contain music).
Mumu: very pretty jewelry 'snowflakes'! Please submit to OGA. :)

Here's my Fox WIP: http://ompldr.org/vZXJraQ I'm actually so proud of the tire that I put it on OCAL http://openclipart.org/detail/171197 :)

Can attribution be used to change the license?
