OMG, this is awesome, how come I haven't found this earlier? Not many comments either.
I think the submission could be improved by:
a) A complete preview - the archive contains much more than what's shown.
b) Sprites separated into individual png files with transpareny to be ready to be used out of the box. A lot of people reject good art if they can't use it straight away.
c) Maybe even more tags - I can see a lot of stuff in the archive that can't be found because it's not in tags nor in previews. E.g. cats, birds, helmets, ...
I think I'll do more, I guess upscaling at least all the spell icons could provide a very useful complete icon set. I'll probably also try bigger upscale, but that would likely require much more work as many small details would have to be added to make a real use of the resolution. The monsters would be worth it though, they're really great work of art.
So far my favorite tileset - not overly small, look awesome, big variety of tiles, includes also other game elements and is under CC0 - I can't see how this could get any better.
I am currently trying to upscale some of these sprites. I start with scaling it with pixelart specialized algorithms, such as XBR or HQ2X, and then manually polish them. Looks good so far. I'll share the results back under CC0 as soon as I'm finished :)
Very nice, I just noticed the shuttle has wrong transparency.
Someone should use this to make an Advance Wars clone!

Thank you for liberating your work :)
@Boom Shaka: I definitely aggree it's better to focus on complete sets. With this post I wanted to
1. Test what it looks like.
2. Hopefully start a series of posts with more upscales, either by me or others, which will eventually together make the whole collection.
3. Encourage any other kind of remixing of any other free art.
@MedicineStorm: Oh that's great, but these posts are CC-BY, I'd like to stick to CC0 for my posts. At least it's a good reference.

Epic.

Glad you like it, I'll make more if there's demand :)
