@rubberduck I have made a few CC0 handpainted assets as well, including a big tiling texture pack, feel free to use them in your game and/or use them as a base for new textures (you can find them in my posts). It is my goal to make a public domain hand-painted RPG once there is enough of these. That's why I am always happy to see new hand-painted style assets.
Spoiler warning: antivirus sftware actually does nothing, it just randomly triggers on some programs. These programs don't even detect Windows and most proprietary software as malware, while throwing false positives on reguar programs constantly. This kind of software is not needed at all on secure systems, and won't help on Windows or Mac.
I'm friending you, will be watching what you're posting :) Once there is a decent amount of hand-painted stuff around and the OpenMW editor is in usable state, I might try to start creating a small world to start with.
That looks awesome! The water doesn't look like vanilla -- is that OpenMW? I used to contribute to that project, but I stopped playing it because I only play games with free data now. If someone could make a free content game for OpenMW engine, with assets such as your weapons, that would be extremely awesome. (I have posted three CC0 hand-painted 3D RPG asset packs and one big hand-painted texture pack I created for Minetest, which could be used for this as well. This makes a nice asset pool to start with already.)
Are you planning to create other assets than weapons as well?
Beautiful enhancement :O This is what I'm hoping to see people do when I post something.
Oh it's in Godot, nice. Can't wait to give it a try. What state is it in?
I am looking forward to seeing it in your game :)
Looks very promising :)

I think I once spent over a week on 4 textures as well (https://opengameart.org/content/4-hand-painted-ground-textures). It's worth it because as a public domain they can forever be reused by the whole world.
BTW the screenshot looks amazing :)
This is great, please keep them coming :)

So many ships, beautiful! Are they procedurally generated?
EDIT: Oh, I overlooked the program in the desciption. Great work, thanks for sharing :)
