window mode works and is nice. just FYI when i press f7 a few times in a row the program crashes in a bad way, so either something else is wrong or the engine or whatever can't handle fast toggles.
maybe i should mention that i did have kymi before the boss fight? perhaps that is related to the world completed bug?
yo spring i'm trying this out but i was wondering... is there a command line option of some kind to allow me to run the thing in a window?
i work on EXTREMELY old laptops, outside, in the texas heat, so i have to watch my CPU temp whenever i run anything. ANYTHING.
looks good though! i like the weapon stacking and the music is killer; i will have to check out some of your chiptunes! i also like how you showcased the rebound function in your vids ;p
hey i've been using SSCD.js for collision detection. it's super-lightweight and unobtrusive AND one of its shapes is a line-strip or connected line segments, which you can shape into a diamond for isometric collision.
EDIT: i did not read carefully; javascript probably doesn't work for you. perhaps, though, you can find a compatible library and use the same concept to effect your collisions?
hey spring. i can do text pretty well. my current big project keeping me from doggos of war is design-related, and i would be happy to take a few minutes to help you if you can't find some elsewhere.
so i wake up and see this and think, as a 15-minute exercise lemme try my hand at this.
i look up at clock and it is 45 minutes later so i stop.
anyone want the file? it's rigged and currently using the orignal strip as a texture, but needs polishing, of course.
righto, danimal.

could use a better texture, but still looks REALLY freaky when animated. very creepy design.

i'll complete it someday and give you a review.
window mode is a nice (i would argue necessary) feature for any game.
played it for a bit, i havent beaten the level 3 boss yet. For some reason i thought the weapons were stacking but i was mistaken.
i did notice two things:
1. twice my doggo was struck by nothingness, maybe old colliders or something not recycling properly.
2. even though the E-wheel boss thingy kilt me, i got a world completed screen... then started over at the pre-boss checkpoint.
the death animation is great; it reminds me of chuck rock from SNES.
