"Hello, thanks for reaching out. I am still interested in maintaining a list, although the one I posted as a comment is no longer editable. I did want to at least update the links to the Freedoom vault after they changed the directory structure. As far as working on the project, the main issue is I have precisely zero actual experience modding the Doom engine (all of my own game projects are self-coded), and am mostly just a FLOSS game enthusiast, so would be really excited if anyone could actually start making an actual working IWAD. To that end, it would be good if any interested parties could get together to put in place an actual project site/portal for sharing assets and drafts."

Do you have an actual thread going on over at Doomworld or is this communication mostly done through private messages?
