There is no recommended resolutions/sizes. What is "good" in this case is very subjective. It all depends on what they are being used for, which on this site could be anything... Generally, textures have dimensions that are powers of 2.
I think with 16:9 being the standard for wide-screen displays these days, that would be a much better ratio to use for backgrounds to fit well. If it's a raster image you have drawn, you could upload the original and let people resize it to their needs.
Try making modifications and extensions of existing art. There are plenty of really good, but incomplete pieces on here.
And try to find or make a project to work on, something where the goal is well defined. You can make cool looking art all day, but if none of it ends up being of practical use to anyone then you are wasting your time.
Wow, these are great. The preview doesn't do this pack justice. There is so much awesome stuff in there. I especially like Body Count, Fable, Mountain Man and Plateau.
I know you submitted these a lifetime ago, but could you add OGG rendered versions from your setup?
I'd love to use some of these for a web game I'm making, but browsers don't support MIDI playback. I tried rendering them myself but some of the sounds come out a bit poo on my device.
Great idea. Having users categorise submissions should (on average) result in submissions being given more relevant tags that reflects better what users actually search for when looking for something. Authors have to just assume that the info they give their work will be what users end up searching for.
But, let's just say this site is in a 'LTS' state, so I doubt a new major feature like this would get added, unless someone throws some money at someone to sit down and make it happen.
Same.
Are you available & willing to do a commissioned expansion to this set?
It sounds like an account permission problem that affects some users. PM an admin/mod if they don't see this in a timely manner.

I must have messed up some of the server settings. Fixed now.
Yea, I see what I did. The text for the link is correct, but the hyperlink on the text goes to the old invite. Updated.

Have fun getting sued.
