This is another general-purpose collection for all characters made for sidescroller/platformer/fighting game/run'n'gun type games.  Some are animated, some less so.  There will probably also be a collection for stage enemies, though of course there can be some degree of overlap.  If you see something that should be added, or want to be a collaborator, just write a comment.

Edit:  OK, stage enemies are going in here as well, because it is difficult to draw the line between protagonist and antagonist in a lot of these.  If you see any I've missed, just link in the comments or whatever.
