Looks awesome! What software was it btw? I'm a linux guy and have a free open source project where I need to do things along these lines as well... https://AncientBeast.com
Regarding my project, going for animations exported from blender, using our Spritify addon
You should usually export the animations as sprite sheets as well btw, because that helps with compression a ton and also improves speed when importing stuff, especially for web based games, since less server requests are being done, which are somewhat slow overall.

Nice style! <3
Pretty cool stuff, funny tittle :D
Awesome work! <3
Pretty good stuff! Might eventually use it in a foss browser based Battletoads cloneish project.
Pretty cool stuff! :)
That second preview was the actual file. Anyway, I've added jpg preview and png download now, both optimized. Thanks for the feedback!
Awesome stuff! Might be using them at some point in my foss game project https://AncientBeast.com
But it will probably take a while, 2-3 major version releases xD
I agree with you! I'll be using something along the lines when I'll be remastering the Dark Forest combat location https://opengameart.org/content/dark-forest
It's from my Ancient Beast game project, heavily inspired by the projects you mentioned, especially HoMM 3.
