@Technopeasant Good to hear, that was the idea when this got picked as main playable character for Ancient Beast when design was still shaping up, as I really liked HeXen's theme/style, even though AB is not about magic, but very advanced tech (though some consider that there may not be a difference).
Glad you like it. I liked the original concept art for this a bit more and was somewhat shocked when the artist sort of remixed it xD happened often within the project, but sometimes results were pretty good nonetheless.

While curent theme is not that bad pallete wise, I always dig dark themes even more and if it includes actual fixes, then I'm all for it! <3

Thanks, too bad I can't manage to secure any semi-decent funding or the project would have taken off by now.
In the screenie all the creatures are 2d, but plan was to have all 3d modeled and animated using blender.
Clement coded the prototype, had him as an intern for a while, he also 3d modeled several of the units.
