I took some time to adjust the concepts based on your feedback. I added more thumbnails to showcase the artwork of the week and the latest artwork submitted by users.
"It looks like a place you go to get stuff, not a place where you go to participate in a community."
Therefore, it was natural to give something back to the community. I have designed a few websites and I have experience in graphical user interface. It would be a pleasure for me to bring my experience and knowledge to improve this website.
A quick suggestion, it's IMHO better to use a different material for the glowing part of the lantern rather than using a mask that will take so much space in the VRAM
I have written a Random Room Generator as a basic level generation system. I can't promise much but I will try to get something fun (even if it's very basic).
Do we have a pixel art version of Sara that would be avaliable for plateformer ? Since we are on OpenGameArt a plateformer with OGA's mascot would be interesting, as a hero or as a NPC.
Hello, the project is not dead. I spend time to improve a few things. Mainly the light rendering which is now more automated (to avoid a lot of manual work). There is a very early attempt to add stamina to the game.
There is also a new building in the city, the hospital / medical center where the player can recover lost health.
I'm still looking for someone who could help me, if you are willing to help and have some Godot experience let me know.
Since now we have quite a few buildings (tavern, hospital, general store) I would like to add a bit of gameplay:
* Ability to go inside building based on schedule (this was possible but was disabled) * Ability to restore your health if you go to the medical center * Ability to drink at the tavern * Ability to sleep to recover your stamina * Sell items at the general store

Yep, you would have to scroll down but of course it can be changed. I just think we should emphasis artworks and make the image biggers

Why not having sara as a mermaid? With an underwater temple like atlantis. Although this might be more for an underwater theme rather than summer.
For summer we could have also something at a tropical beach with palmtrees and coconuts

Wow that looks really cool. I love it :).
Yeah, something along those lines, I_had in mind tiles similar to this, of course not a jungle but with conifers. To give a sense of dense forest.
