And i tried selecting and then make the selection bigger (or smaller), same result... It doesn't make sense! I don't know why this happens... I even reinstalled my GIMP and completely removed all configurations. No change. I now wait for someone who looks into this with his GIMP. Something's cheesy here...

Cute! I imagine this in a colorful jump'n'run game with cute creatures. :)
Open the file with a dark background, then you see the cutted off shadow. GIMP cuts, for some unknown reason, 1px off the shadow when saving.
