You can basically do whatever you want with the asset. All you have to do is give credit and share any new remixed sounds you make under the same terms. Not your whole game, just the modified sound file. How is that horrible and restrictive?
Nice! these are some good texture pictures. A couple things, though:
would you be willing to make this one conglomerated texture into individual ones? it is far harder to use when it is one image containing multiple separate textures. The preview is fine, just the downloadable files should be separated.
would you be willing to remove images containing brand names? Blue Rhino, Bud Light, even North Preston Kwik Stop are trademarks and will land game devs in very hot water if they were to use those textures in their projects without the brand's permission.
OP commissioned the assets which involved a transfer of copyright. The plan to release them CC-BY was discussed with the author ahead of time. Thanks for checking, random9129; these are legit.
These all seem like they would go together as a unit set. Would you be willing to combine the submissions into one submission with multiple unit spritesheets, instead of several separate submissions with 1 spritesheet on each?

If that is the case, I don't think MIT can be adapted to CC-BY.
