The "topdown burning fire" one is a bit questionable, I feel. Not that good. The other ones look fine for the style tho, I think. They're not that detailed tho. :P

What sort of style do you have in mind? And who are the characters?

New versions which added the red colours you wanted. I think these are better, but you can judge for yourself.
