Interesting, I don't know too much about music theory, but it would be nice to learn at least a little, and I have noticed the trappings of using just one key for everything makes songs sound samey and boring like you mentioned.
The rope swinging works fine for me, but you need to press the up arrow key when in contact with a rope, not just hold it down. I don't know if that might be the issue? If not I'll have a look through the code more thouroughly.
I'm not 100% sure what causes the high jump after checkpoint bug, but nice to see that the bosses are working at least ^^ (I hope!)
I think the enemies getting stuck in holes is just a minor issue like you say, I can of course make them jump over the holes, as I don't really want them to turn around. That would make the pigs harder to deal with though.
@Amac1990 this uses Game Maker ^^

Oh, I was not really thinking in terms of guitar, just in general.
lol do scales even matter, you can make perfectly good sounding music without knowing any scales at all.
Ah this is good, relaxing but somber.
Argh I'm going to lose.
Ahh, maybe in the future but not right now, as I'm not sure about how to get GMS2 to compile for that.
Great, I'll do that when making new songs then!
Ah, the song in your video sounds great! Very athmospheric and gloomy! ^^
