Well, I haven't gotten as far as I was dreaming today and yesterday, but I think I've crossed both the 'this could actually be fun' and 'this could actually be done' lines. Here's hoping the rest of you have as much luck!
After sleeping on it, I have some time today, I'm going to work on my simplified concept and see how far I can get. If I can make enough progress today maybe, just maybe I'll be able drag something across the finish line. It'll be made with the love if not the time. ;)
@Spring-Enterprises: Oh no! Love your concept, definitley excited to whatever you have ready by the deadline.
Very sad to say but I am facing a similar situation on my end. I only just got to putting any work into my project yesterday and it wasn't much. As much as it pains me to admit it, I don't think I'm going to be able to participate in the jam. I have a back up game concept that would require a lot less time, but I don't even know if that's realistic at this point.

@chasersgaming: Thanks for the assist. Looks like I picked the wrong month to run and participate in a game jam plus finish up work on the Game of the Jam Edition of Yulpers. I did have a plan for pulling it all off, but real life has been a swirl for the last week and a half and I'm only just now getting back to my keyboard. But hey, I guess it just means crunch time start early for me on this jam! ;)
@WeRideForCoffee: Yay! Glad the jam inspired you to formally join the OGA community! Welcome aboard!
@VinnNo.0: Yeah that sounds fine to me. As long the final game meets the Jam requirements, I don't see any reason why not. You do make me nervous with those 3 and 20gig numbers, but I assume that's just source side stuff, the final game wouldn't be a 20gig download would it? I mean, it'd be fine if it was, that just seems like ALOT of data for anything made in a month. Although, I guess I do know how you like those super smooth animations ;)
@ohannes-nienaber-videogame-development: absolutely, the jam is open to anyone! You do need an itch.io account to submit your entry but those are free.
ps
Everyone please kick me next time I suggest holding a jam that ends on a major holiday.
whoo, only 5 minutes and 32 seconds to spare but I made it!

Looks like a big batch of entries, can't wait to try them all!
Going to try sleeping first though ;)
@Spring-Enterprises:
no worries, you gotta keep the people happy right! :)
My project's actually coming along, hoping to post some WIP shots shortly.
I'll be using some of your tunes for the music so you've contributed to the jam no matter what becomes of Haydenwoffle. :)
These are great!
