Cool. I appreciate things more when you have ideas of what other graphics to include for an overall package. In that vein they seem to be somewhat compatible (eyebrows, funnily enough, are what sticks out to me) with some of the work here under the name pzUH.
Already this opens up all sorts of possibilities. Maybe a game focused more on Ancient Egypt, or elemental type beings. You could be more mundane by just using the bird flying part of the animation with, say, the caveman you already have.
Besides just the user page with all your art I think you could use a collection of all your art that has animations like this.
The idea of a partnership site for a coding competition makes sense, but most places I have seen either by who is there or purposefully encourage a specific toolset or language. I think that kind of goes against the idea of openess that we have here. But I admit I haven't done a lot of looking.
I'm up for anything the community wants, though. Certainly I think an all inclusive approach to the idea of making games can only help things. Coding without the language focus I guess. The logic behind it, I guess, and the specifics of how to pull that off would depend on the tool.
I like the thought process involved here. Man, this could be a big project getting all the possible appearancesdown or planning out pieces. You already packed a lot of detail in this contribution.
(I have Creatures but haven't played it yet. Makes me want to try it out sometime to see what they do.)
Cool! This is simple enough it could be on a keychain or watch device (old-style, I know new watches are into full color graphics). Items to feed him or entertain him and resulting icons would be too. Or maybe a twist like educational or moral instructions.
Lots of different types of animations here. You've thought of just about everything short of something silly like expanding into a bubble and rolling away. And of course these would work well with some earlier graphics you made. Quite the set so far. Thanks!
This is a false equivalency here. Commenting that someone is violating the rules in a bad way is not as bad as violating the rules yourself. I'd rather not chastise a valued contributor just to appear to be fair to someone breaking the rules left and right and demanding to get away with it. People who act that entitled to anything should be slapped down just so they don't think they can do worse.
That being said, if ChaosMikee is now banned, there's no reason to have additional comments on the whole situation. The threads should be locked and preferably made invisible. Not deleted, though. If the guy really makes a nuisance lawsuit (because that's all it'd be) it'd be nice to have copies of his posts that clearly indicate who we're dealing with here. No lawyer or judge or anybody can feel sympathic to this guy in even a small way after seeing his posts.

So awesome.
I added my promised submission:
Baby Bounce NES - http://opengameart.org/content/baby-bounce-nes
Silly, I know, but it was mostly from scratch (I think I reused a heart from an earlier submission) and made to advertise this challenge.
Now let's see what you come up with!
Cool. If nothing else, they'd make background walls more interesting.
