I recommend SCaydi if you're looking for any equipment/items for your project, she's done excellent work for me so far, with regard to 32x32 equipment/items for my project. Price is negotiable and very fair.
I'm still seeking 1 or more artists to assist me with monsters, as well as a few other objects (I need a windmill, a power generator, among other things).
The latest version of my project can be found at the link in the first post, if you wish to see what I've accomplished so far (about a year off/on).
Any help would be great! As I've told the lady who is making equipment for me, there's no timeline on anything, since the earliest I anticipate an alpha is late 2022.
Thank you I really appreciate that! Its why I'm now confident that I can make it better with more art. Just need someone who can create monsters that at least somewhat match what I have.
Edit 7/19: I uploaded an update, which fixes a few bugs and improves gameplay.
Still looking for an artist to help really bring my project alive over time.
I'm now looking for an artist to primarily make monsters for my project. Details are in the post above. I'm looking for them to be 32x32 or 64x64 rendered to 32x32, with simple animations (2-6 frames). I know little about art so most things I leave to the artists discretion.
Let me know if interested. In the short term I need about 20-25, long term probably over 50, maybe as high as 100. As my project is long term, there's no timetable for completion.
Reemax your city sets are excellent, I am probably going to use them for my towns. I want to try to use 1 style, although with my elemental themes, I may need to adjust this (although I think most of this can simply be done with different colors to represent each element, which I already have those 8 colors, the 6 primaries plus black/white).
Name by another rose, that link has some really good art sets, but I'm looking for more simple sprites (preferably 32x32 or 16x16, or something easily resized). From playing with the editor, I can resize tiles but sometimes they come out looking weird. As I said in my original post, I'm still learning/exploring all of this, but I've been playing games for over 30 years (I started on an Atari 2600 lol). I'll try searching again, but there's so so many different sets here, I could easily spend many hours trying to find what I want, which is why I asked for help being pointed to more specific sets. I do appreciate the help though, it's making my project worries a bit less.
No I haven't looked at those, there's SO many tile sets on this forum I've found it difficult to tailor my search for what I'm looking for.
I browsed through a few of the many sets in your link, and I think these will indeed work. I'm still learning how to use the game creator, and I wanted to have a good graphics set so I can decide how to design certain elements of the game based on the graphics I use.
The only thing I'm not really seeing is monster/enemy sprites, I mean I see a few but I need probably at least 30-40+ (with some hopefully being more elemental themed or can be easily changed to such). But these sets are amazing, I appreciate the link, I'll definitely be using these I think.
