MGroland, this sounds
Sunday, April 20, 2014 - 00:37

MGroland, this sounds fantastic and epic. Is it possible release under a permissive license? This would be great to hear in other games. Very well composed and fun to hear!

This reminds me of some crazy

This reminds me of some crazy things from Doom 3. If I saw this in a game like Doom 3 I would probably poop myself because it's pretty scary. Well done!

andrelopes1993, you can use
Friday, April 18, 2014 - 13:47

andrelopes1993, you can use art or other assets with any of the licenses listed. You don't have to use all the licenses, just pick one. The only exceptions are things that explicitly say they are licensed under multiple at the same time (like Liberated Pixel Cup assets). You can use anything on this site for commercial or non-commercial use as long as you give credit when it's required (anything that is not licensed CC0 requires attribution).

My thinking is along the same

My thinking is along the same lines as Sharm. Collections are super generic but they allow for a lot of very useful and flexible purposes that suite things exactly like this. If someone wanted to collect all the Dawn Breaker palette works into a collection and put a link to the palette in the description that would probably suffice for most people.

Had not heard of Cockos

Had not heard of Cockos Reaper before you mentioned it. Sounds like a useful tool.

Hey findingme, I also

Hey findingme, I also struggled with automapping. I went through their wiki and found some useful information when I first started using Tiled, it was pretty helpful. Don't know if you've seen the wiki but here's a link:

https://github.com/bjorn/tiled/wiki

There is a link on there about automapping if you want to learn more. There are videos and quite a bit of useful documentation. The version number might be out-dated but it's still quite useful and relevant.

I just realized what this

I just realized what this reminds me of now. Something like Come to Daddy by Aphex Twin.

This is good advice to follow
Thursday, April 10, 2014 - 22:59

This is good advice to follow carefully bart. I also lack creative talent so my solution is to ask a pixel artist when I have questions. This is a good place to ask questions since many pixel artists and developers like to visit this site.
