Thanks Bertram. Yes, it's intended for use in the game I've been working through. Right now game progress is still invisible but the assets still make for pretty things to see and can still be used in other people's projects.
Pretty sure if people love playing small and seemingly trivial flash games on PC they'll love your game. There are huge droves of people who love flash games so there's no shortage of interested and prospective players in that arena.
LPC still stands for Liberated Pixel Cup, though assets made in that style now refers to the style established during the contest instead of being part of it.
What if we remove the dialog stuff and arrange sand+grass in a different manner? Someone making a game would only need to load two sets of graphics and dialog would be separate from the rest (which makes sense usually). Plus, it gives us enough room to round sand+grass the way Sharm has in the previews (which looks really nice and makes sense).
Also, I think your complete set is missing the cup-shaped object in the original set ;)
He's another rendition that includes your color chart and some additional sand+grass tiles.
Excellent... now my plans for world domination have come one step closer to completion... ehrm, I mean, excellent work!

Maybe these kinds of textures aren't so interesting? I had the impression that stone and wood would be of some value.
All my stuff has OGA-BY as an option (that I can control anyway)
If you want to see some better quality and possibly more useful textures I've made a forum thread:

Thanks!

Glad someone found use in these.
