Yeah, I don't know if there's an official back-story to any of the OGA characters either. I've looked and asked several people but nobody can point to a single specific story for any of them. I'm tempted to ask around if someone is willing to write some story for them but that's a discussion for another thread.
Thanks Mumu, that's part of the intention. LPC animations have the right look about them to be useful in side-scroll games so they really serve 2 different genras, not just RPG games. One of the many reasons I settled on LPC style artwork was because it's useful in so many situations.
Yet even more goblin animations! Redshrike is tearing it up, he's making this stuff look easy! We all know animation work a long and difficult at best so I want to extend my gratitude to him for working so long and hard on this sprite, it's looking great.
I'm honored that I was your inspiration. These portraits are a great addition to the community, thank you so much. My suggestion, if I could be so bold, would be to make the original OGA characters starting with Sara the wizard (site mascot). You can find Trevor and the others on the last 2 pages of bart's submissions page (around page 92 I think).
Hey ZaPaper, that's a great addition to the LPC artwork style. The original LPC assets were dual-licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 and GPLv3 so my only suggestion is to add GPLv3.
Hi kgsb, I don't plan to modify or add anything to this set. You're welcome to modify and add as you like, just provide the changes on OGA under the same license options and include a link to this set in your attribution instructions.
As far as other demons, I don't have anything planned. If you have something specific in mind I'd love to see it. You're welcome to leave comments about animations you'd like to see made here:
Not sure how to make a ttf retain the white inside the letters. It's intended to be used on a white background because normal ttf type fonts only contain a single color and the rest is transparent.
I'm definitely not a graphic artist and severly lack the "artistic eye" when it comes to matching things. Maybe if some of those JRPG sprites were converted to DB32 pallette they would look more usable with tiny-16. They could also be different enough from the tiny-16 set that uses DB16 that they wouldn't run the chance of blending together. What do you all think?

Hello Languard, I'm happy to hear this was useful to you. This is one of many more animations to come. Stay tuned for further developments.

Thanks for the art appreciation, it was made by Redshrike.

More prospective goblin animations for previewing. Redshrike, your stuff looks great.
