The algorithm I used doesn't always make them perfectly symmetrical, but you can easily edit them. You could also use the flaws as part of a multi-block pattern to give it a bit more variety (flip every other one horizontally, etc).
It's a little rough at the moment. I sort of slapped together for whatever I feel like expermenting with, and whatever comes out nice I'll pull together in a more coherent manner. Expect lots of commented out/half done things, hard-coded stuff, etc. Consider it licensed WTFPLV2 except for LuaBit.lua (MIT), SimpleNoise.lua (?).lua, and CLARENDO.TTF (?). Requires Love2D.
FYI, there is a single black pixel in the tall pink palm tree that shouldn't be there.
