Hi! See bookCovers-license.txt and BooksPages-License.txt at textures for more details. Most of details are made by me in Gimp. Clipart and Mark Twain's pages downloaded from openclipart.org and commons.wikimedia.org with corresponding references found in the license files.
Maybe, someone knows a nice FOSS old-style general midi VSTi syntheiser? Like GS Wavetable Synth, Roland GS or Yamaha XG. That is appliccable to real-time playing with midi keyboard (i.e. low latency) and allows for producing free music :)
Yeah... I see... however, still not sure if I'll be capable of providing enough modeling and animating to cover more than just a few basic animations... Otherwise I think adding skeletal animation support would be a more efficient way. E.g. changing something in a precalculated animation is a hell :)
Check this one out. I really like it and use two portraits generted by it in my game :) However, there are only adult male and female avatars. But it's at least some place to start.
Just look at this cutie in Kyiv (Ukraine)! :D Someone used it as advertisement near a shop.

I'll subscribe here :) Maybe, some day we could join forces?
Thanks a lot, everybody!
Aeitia, thank you for the link. Looks like Nostalgija VST is the stuff I was looking for... I hope it would work for me :)
