Fanart isn't allowed on this site because of potential copyright restrictions. I think this art is still okay to use, but you should remove all reference to Fallout in the description, except maybe for the last "inspired by" line.
I know it's been a very long time since I've posted about this project here, but I'm still actively working on it and in fact it's getting close(ish) to release.
At this point, about 90% of the gameplay is done. What it needs is testing (mostly for balance and a bit of art. In particular, a few main characters are missing portraits or have very bad portraits, and combat is unbalanced (the black silhouettes are a deliberate, if ill-advised, design decision). If anyone is willing to provide one of those things, that would be very much appreciated.
I did intend to sell this as a commercial game at one point, but I've pretty much given up on those plans. I just don't feel that there's enough game here to ask money for it.
In any case, you can download the semi-public alpha here. It's a few months old now, and I've added a fair amount since then.
Maybe, maybe not. Doom's weapons are all photographed toys, and I've never heard of them having any licensing issues. It might be considered transformative enough to be a new work.
It's CC-BY 3.0, which means that you may use it with the only restriction being crediting the author in a method appropriate to your medium. I do not require that you credit me, but you must credit AngryMeteor.com for the original graphic.
I disagree strongly with this. Having a lossless FLAC source file gives us as developers the flexibility to recode to the quality and format we require, losing as little quality as possible. It's relatively simple to go from a high quality source file to a lower quality file for integration using, say, ffmpeg or Audacity.
I like the "breathing" animations, especially. Could you post these as individual frames in a lossless format, though? GIF dithers badly which is not good for what I want to use these for.
Reading between the lines, it seems like he's milking it for cash- if he thinks they're making money, he threatens them to get his cut. In my opinion, that's a very selfish position to take- understandable, of course, but disappointing.

Makes me think of the old Command and Conquer games of all things. Don't know if I have a use for this, but very nice.
Which palette is this in? It looks almost like CGA, but not quite. Pretty nice in any case.

It's better than you think! Your mileage may vary, but it reminds me of Heretic's music of all things.
