He's great! Very cute! My only suggestion would be to try adding a tail to the space suit just to really sell the monkey idea. Might be tricky with the jetpack on but shouldn't be too hard for the others. That plus bananas. Maybe freeze dried banana slices since he's in space. :)

Amazing work! Just want to say the snow in particular looks excellent! It's got a great random drift to it that really hides the looping extremely well!
Awesome! He looks so cute! In the fiercest possible way!
I've added him to the submission proper and given him a bone to throw and little boney fist for oophing you with.

@Zabin: Thanks for sharing that!
As knife_drawer_games said, the preview doesn't even begin to do this set justice! There's a font in there, some great UI stuff, a paper backdrop, a LIVING LOG CHARACTER! It goes on and on!
@ArMM1988:
Stupendous! Utterly speechless, this is an amazing collection, thanks so much for sharing!
One small thought, and I am indeed very hesistant to ask for anything more, but any possibility of posting the palette you used for all this? If you happen to have it handy, it'd be great for folks wanting to extend or alter the set.
@Sharm: ok, now I'm the one that's flattered! Knowing you were watching, I just couldn't leave this work undone, so I stole some away some time today to do the female character. She was a little tricker than the male on account of the dress and hair, which are not quite as regular and symmetric as the boys hair and outfit. But I like the results better, she has great personality!
@kakestet: To be clear, this is 99.99% Sharm's work, all I've done here is mucked around a little to create a few extra poses for the sprites. Sharm is still active on OGA though, you can send her a thanks via OGA messaging at http://opengameart.org/users/sharm. I'm sure she'd love to hear about your project, certainly looks like it makes good use of her stuff!

just a note, as part of this week's Share The Love art challenge, I've made some additions to the male sprites for this set:
@Evert: Awesome! I've gone ahead and added those to the submission and added you as a collaborator.
One note, for the 'Down' poses, I slid the eye over 1 pixel so that it would not get obscured when holding a sword. Including your original nude and copy with the eye slid over so folks can use whichever they prefer.
@chasergaming: You're right! I didn't even notice that until now. Really the 'Strike' poses are just twiddles of the walk poses. For the horizontal poses I was able to shift the feet a bit to put some more motion into, but had less luck with the Up/Down poses.
I should add that if the preview doesn't make it clear, the idea with the weapons is they're smaller when he's just holding them and then they 'grow' a little when he uses them.

Well, my submission is up, didn't have nearly as much time to put into as I was hoping, but here's what I did get to:
