[Godot 3.5] LPC Character Spritesheet Plugin - now in Asset Library

The LPC Character Spritesheet Plugin
allows you to import character spritesheets made with the Universal LPC Spritesheet Generator into Godot (3.5) and provides a class to access the layers and play all the nice animations.

Why use the Plugin?

  • You can import the sheet directly from the Web Generator (via clipboard)

  • Saved in a blueprint you can see the layers, keep track of credits and even re-open it on Web to make changes.

  • The layers are kept seperate, which allows to modify them at runtime
  • With this you can add/remove/highlight/outline/tint/modulate individual layers to create effects

  • Find out more on the Github

Feel free to provide any feedback for improvements or feature requests

Best Regards,
Dr. Jamgo

This is really cool. i did not anticipate anything like this when a JSON import/export feature was requested for the LPC spriteheet generator. Thanks for showing me what could be done with it!

Bookmarking. Could be neat to add in support for the new animation frames as well.
