Ultimate Low Poly Guns
Hey, how's it going?
Looking for some guns for your projects? Look no further! (Or maybe do look, I dunno, I ain't your boss...).
This pack contains 71 gun models of all sorts and 15 cartridge models. They're in .blend format, if any other format is needed, let me know. The gun models are from TastyTony. They're really good so make sure to check him out. What I did was make them all use 1 palette and 1 material for the colors, re-rig/create rigs for the guns that didn't have any, and remodel the cartridges. Any feedback is welcome, so let me know if there's any problems.
I'll be constantly updating this pack and making my own models. So stay tuned! You can also check out my Patreon or Kofi if you want to support me.
The models are licensed CC Attribution 4.0. You can use them however you'd like, you only need to credit TastyTony and Pichuliru.
Well, that's it! Stay safe and take care!

It's pretty amazing but... not sure I'd call these low poly, it seems like they have really many many polygons xD But yeah, the single material, no texture is kinda what like you see in low poly games.
It seems people are co-opting the term "low poly" for "no textures and no smoothing groups" these days...
the problem is that "lowpoly" has two different meanings, either as referring to the ultra-low-poly aesthetic of early 3d games or as a marker for those working in modern games that this is lowpoly enough for mobile and low-end machines. and for that second case the bar for lowpoly has simply risen. any mobile game now easily pushes hundreds of thousands of polys. the real consideration for lowend stuff is now # of materials/shaders/textures.
Yeah like definitely the polygon count stopped being an issue and everyone started to use many polygons nowadays and the term low-poly -- originally truly meaning very few polygons -- took on a new meaning that signifies more of an aesthetic choice (no textures, no smoothing etc.) rather than some quantitative metric like polygon count. I wouldn't mind the term evolving, however what term do we now use for the original meaning? Because the original meaning is still relevant, it is still at least a valid aesthetic choice to go for a look with very rough and sharp shapes (I for one really prefer e.g. the look of original Warcraft III before the remake), just as pixel art is still valid in the era of high resolution. So there's quite ome confusion unfortunately.
