Nice! I know these are sci-fi effects, but I might be able to use these as fantasy magical effects as well.

@ShannonGames, sure you can use these assets in commercial games. You just have to add my name to the credits and indicate the license of the asset.
@Everybody, should I add more animated previews? How many is too much? Currently you have to download the complete zip archive to see what else is inside. I've at least added a still image which shows all effects.
@Skorpio: The addition of that last summary image and the comment about "34 effects/animations..." is probably sufficient for letting people know there's more to this pack than the previews.
I wouldn't be opposed to more previews if you want to add them, though. :)

Have you ever tried creating Mechanical aliens? i think that would be a great addition to your series, solid enemy mobs that are different from your ship factions would be awesome to see and make come to life. Good karma friend im sure you made alot of people happy with this art.
These are awesome effect and I finally figured out where to use one of these in my 4X strategy game.
I am using the shield effect from this set in my game. Attached screenshot from the combat where I use the shield effect.
