[LPC Revised] Workshop Tilesets

I know its been a long time since I released anything. I'm trying to get stuff out. I also am open to commissions now…

My new website contains a compilation of all assets I have heavy involvement in:

And it also has a commissions page. In addition, I have Ko-Fi commissions if anyone's interested in sprite commissions.

 

The reason behind this release is because I was working on map design recently and noticed that a lot of assets just don't have easy "drop in" tilesets. I looked back at to some of my old unfinished tileset compilations, compared it to bluecarrot16's tilesets, and decided to compile tilesets only on a case-by-case basis.

Here, I compiled three Tilesets from bluecarrot16:

These include the Tailor, the Woodshop, and the Blacksmith. I wanted to do Sawmill as well but I didn't get around to it yet. All assets have a Tiled Map Editor tileset complete with animations. I didn't add anything else like collision / passability or anything.

These are specifically based on ElizaWy's LPC Revised versions of these assets:

However, I added a handful of new tileset changes/additions as well:

  • In Blacksmith, Eliza was missing a lot of the original tiles. I went ahead and added them in. I thought they might be licensing issues, but the entire Blacksmith listing on OGA is OGA-BY.

    • Added the missing rounded furnace, recolored to LPC Revised

    • Added the missing square furnace tiles, recolored to LPC Revised

    • Split the interior of the furnace off into separate tiles

    • I wanted to add new metal roofs for the large furnace, but I didn't get around to doing that.

    • I felt like the ladder fit nicely in here, so I added it in as well. This is based on Lanea Zimmerman's modified base tiles (with some tweaks by ElizaWy).

  • In Tailor, there's additional assets that weren't in bluecarrot's version:

    • Mirror by Eliza Wyatt (DeathsDarling)

    • Standing Screen (from Upholstery) by bluecarrot16, Lanea Zimmerman (Sharm)

    • Side Standing Screen by ElizaWy (recolors by me)

    • Also added the ladder here, too. Same credits.

 

I originally tried compiling all these assets into a 2048x2048 sheet several years back, but I never released it. When trying it again, I almost made all these in one tileset (the first image), but I opted to split them up instead to follow bluecarrot16's original format.

I did include the furnace assets inside the 4 seasons tileset:

I'm really not happy with that one anymore. I think it makes more sense to only include assets that actually might be used alongside the same assets, instead of trying to force everything into one sheet. That's what these new tilesets I have done are.

I'm going to try and rework that old one soon as well, but I have a lot going on. My next big release is going to be me FINALLY releasing a full sheet of Armour updates. I'm nearly ready to release that one, though I have added plenty of armour updates already to the ULPC:

I'm heavily, heavily considering redoing this:

Otherwise, though, my main goal for the near future is getting LPC Expanded Armour ready. I'm not planning to do ElizaWy's Revised Slash animations going forward unless its easy, but I still intend on doing everything else. The main hold up is Run for the most part.

 

I also compiled a few more tilesets I will probably release later.
