This is a RPG GUI contstruction kit. You can use it to create all sorts of widgets, text boxes, buttons, drop-dow lists and other GUI widgets. I didn't want to offer pre-made widgets since the needs of many games cannot be suited by a single solution. Instead, each project can use the GUI kit to put together widgets in a very lego-like fashion to suit specific needs. I hope you will enjoy it and have good use of it. Source GIMP file included.
For the UI I also used this texture and this public domain wood photo, everything else is original work.

This is really impressive. Cool!
Thanks! :)
nice as well :)
Awesome awesome awesome! I will definitely be making use of this in my current project!
Hi Lamoot,
Do you know of somebody or are you into making something like AGS http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/
That would be awesome for FOSS games as well.
Hello, shirish,
Thanks for the offer, but I'm not into any projects right now as I'm working on my diploma.
Very nice.
I use your art in my projet, thank you to share it

Starting to use some elements in Flare (buttons on the main menus). Thanks for these.
No problem, I'm happy to see it's being used for something and if it's a prominent open source RPG like FLARE, even better :)
We are using this set in our game Sigmore Mines 2 for Android. We will also be using some of the border elements in the third installment of our game too.
Thanks for your hard work :D
Awesome ^ 2
Hi, I just finished adding some customizable features to your GUI elements and thought I would share. You can find it here.
Now using many more of these elements in Flare (a lot of them in the new config men).
Also using the buttons for the Flare website! (attribution in the site footer and the CSS file).
I used these in my project The Endless Dungeons. Thank you! https://sourceforge.net/projects/endlessdungeons/
LitmusDragon,
You're welcome, it's always great to see the UI being used in actual projects :) I checked your screenshots and you combine the graphics realy well with the 700+ RPG icons and proper fonts.
Hi Lamoot, your GUI is great!
I want to use it in our onlinegame http://www.insel-matera.de/ It's an german economy game that plays in the Middle Ages on an island named Matera.
How should we name you as the creator in our impressum?
Hello Seraphina,
You can credit me as "Matjaž Lamut"
Thank you for asking and good luck with your project.
Hello, I started using your asset on my 2D Mobile RPG game that I'm making, I started a blog about it, you can check it here:

Thank you for this awesome asset!

oh, cool. tnx :)
Greetings,
My friend and I are making an RPG game, so we want to use this images for our game.
Thank you!
Hello deniz, great to hear that! You're welcome to use the image for your game under the CC-BY-3.0 license. The more people find it useful, the better.
Good luck with your project.
Thanks for sharing,really useful!
I love this!
Well textured old-world feel, a complete UI set, great shading -ten out of ten! I've already made this the backbone of my project's GUI. I did end up making a texture file that composes the individual pieces in a more compact way, but that was all that was needed. Keep sharing!
i'm new to game development so i want to ask, how do you use this? is it used like a tileset or something else?
any help would be greatly aprecciated
This looks awesome. Using it for my demo. Anyone have a proper font recommendation that goes well with this? I'm sick of looking at Arial.
ooh. I think yd had one. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I do recall a good font for this UI. BRB.
If that's not findable, maybe someone could identify the font in the image? Hmm.
Many thanks for your very nice work!
I'm using it in a python library I develop:
https://gitlab.com/qouify/pygwin/
You could try to analyze the image with FontSquirrel. They have a tool for that:
https://www.fontsquirrel.com/matcherator
well, the fontsquirrel matcherator didn't seem to work, but yd was able to tell me the font he uses in some of his previews. I think it's pretty great for this sort of UI: https://www.dafont.com/duvall.font
Thanks for awesome assets. I used in my game https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DefaultCompany.CarThie... and give you credit. Thank!
this is really great, gonna use it in my project for sure!
the one request I might have though... a plain button w/out the triangles on the horizontal edges?
I think I can figure out a way to clip it and make something work, but I'm severely lacking in talent w/ using gimp to do more than adjust colors :'(
Amazing! Giving me Elder Scrolls vibes!
