I like the tileset, but scaled down, it gets a grid like effect and is very neat. Just take a look at the thumbnail! :3
For orthographic view, I sugger fixed offset, else it's not much a tiled map anymore. Think like legos. It's the same problem as isometric view IMO. It's not difficult to program, but will be a lot harder with the collisions, but it's again my opinion!
Auto-tiling should take some constraints, like smaller tilesets. i.e. tilesets wirthout digonals nor transitions. I tried to use some 2d side scorller tilesets to try this system, and I just goit only stranges errors...
But a template for doing some tilsets would be useful. Doing a standard would help programing.
Some scraps are interessting. But what about the prototypes that they could use it? Have you done some prototypes that used these scraps?
Remembering a lot of Dragon Warrior on Game Boy, but a lot better! Nice job!
Quite a well work you have here!
Checkered Dirt? Sonic's Green Hill Zone! :3

But yeah, you inspired me! :p

Damnit usr_share! With your WIzard tileset you made me craving for doing a platformer. Now it's a bomberman!
EDIT : aaand with my post you just got a gold grade! Congrats!:
Nice effect. It sounds a little metallic! Nice thing!
Eh now, try doing a similar sound with "Back to future" triple bang! :p
I like this work, it looks like from directly taken from a Meat Boy-ish game!
I really like the platformer tiles: they are clear, low on colors, but rich of details, aznd well made! Great work!
