Logged in just to thank you. You literally deconstructed so many genres and their presentation, and remade another variant of their genre, and shared these recreations for free. Just incredible.
That instrument that starts at 0:06 is hype. But I didn't expect it to last near that long. I expected it to drop at around 0:10~0:15 and explode into a full standard boss theme, which would be hype. As it is, it sounds like a note got stuck, and the pitch changing very late doesnt do much.
It is catchy, while also being slightly ominous/dreadful in feeling. Kinda reminds me of some very rare SNES RPG soundtracks.
As for feedback, I noticed that it feels a bit out of tempo in some places. Like, notes that play slightly faster/later than they should be, but it's still pretty good, and since its catchy and evokes the right feelings, it all just works.
it has parts that are a bit out of tune, but even with that, it really feels like this could easily play in the background of some dramatic emotional scene, nice!
This is just too good. I have heard so many "egyptian/arab" VGM, but nothing touches this, which is the reason I had to login.
You go off the beaten path on this, but you still keep the theme intact. And holy shit it sounds good. I wish I could hear this in the background on some JRPG with the party roaming a desert, would be memorable af

Unique artstyle for sure, but I like it
P.S. Thanks for having it in a spritesheet/.png format!
100% chill vibes.
If this was in a game, it would be fitting for it to play in a beach with the main character(s) sleeping under the sun haha
Good song, but that transition mid-way (~0:50) is more than good!
Incredible.
