I always love your sprite & pixel work :). I love these customizable ships too. Makes me want to think of creating a space-shooter game... after I get finished with my adventure/RPG... if that ever happens. ><
Edit: Maybe I should attempt the space-shooter first, since it might be simpler. lol
I really don't know a lot of details about the Creative Commons Licenses, but I don't think CC BY permits restriction of use to only free games. Unless I'm mistaken, I think all the licenses that OpenGameArt.org uses allow for commercial use. But, I may be wrong. You may want to Ask MedicineStorm.
The armor does look very nice. The orange looks like it's hot. :)
There is another small tileset that I want to upload that I edited to replace another part of the hell tileset. But I'm waiting on confirmation of the licensing. Most original tilesets for the project are GPL. But when the original image was added to the project, licensing wasn't specified & I haven't found clear documentation on it yet.
I actually did this a few years ago. In Stendhal, we needed to replace a tileset labelled hell because of licensing issues. So I began work on a fresh one, trying to keep it similar so that the look of the map didn't change too much. Luckily I had found that CC0 licensed ground tile which helped a lot. Just did a recolor to match the rest of the set.
The related resources that I linked to were created to replace parts of that tileset as well.
Edit: Actually, most of the stuff I have uploaded in the past few days were done over 2 or 3 years ago.
Edit: The hell tileset replacement is still a work-in-progress. I went inactive with the project for a while.

Re-released under Creative Commons Zero (CCO).
singularitycomplex has some really nice pixel art. But I don't know that he/she would be satisfied with the OGA compatible licenses.
Ooh, lots of different grassy tiles. :)
No problem. :)

Thank you so much for this!
Reworked the bench a little for Stendhal:

I really like the coloring on the iron coin.
If you would like & haven't already made one, you can use this animated GIF for your preview. Or I could make one that shows all the coin colors.
