@wulax, the author of the original character assets (Redshrike) has agreed to make them available under CC-BY. Here's the forum thread; search for "give permission". So you're free to consider releasing your set under CC-BY if you wish.
From that same forum post, it sounds like CC-BY would open the possibility of using your artwork in iOS games.
I decided to see if I could do a 45-degree version of AlexCons's scimitar. Here's what I came up with, side-by-side with the original on the left:
Suggestions welcome. It's not perfect, but it's probably good enough for the fraction of a second it'd be visible during an animation.
If you like this, feel free to use it under the same terms as the original (CC0) -- I'd love to see this scimitar make it into the LPC battle templates (and ideally, into the universal spritesheet).
I did run into one glitch: In the download, the large green dragon is missing the white in his horns and claws -- the white pixels have been changed to transparent. (They're fine in the image Blarumyrran posted in a comment above, though, so it should be a simple matter of flipping the original and pasting it back in.)
Updated to add OGA-BY 3.0 license.

Fantastic set!
