Just reiterating a comment made on another entry of yours; please provide the SVG. The PNG is of limited use when it comes to creating variations (especially animations) of vector art.
It's nice but the PNG isn't very helpful.
Almost certainly any use would want animations - for which the SVG would be required.
OK I extract the tar.gz to get a .tar... then extract that to get a file with no extension. Not handy for a Windows user.
What can I do, short of going to the googlecode project and getting it from there?
