Glad to hear that you're working on characters. I have absolutely no artistic skills whatsoever, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt. But a good way to find inspiration for designs is to watch videos of old games like this one
Since you are open to taking requests, I have a suggestion. You have lots of art for environments. They are really great works, so I'm not complaining about them. But there doesn't seem to be enough characters to go along with the environments. The only "main" character you have is that alien guy.
Can you create more characters to use with the environments you created? Like maybe a guy with melee weapons and animations for them. What I have in mind is something with animations like the following video... except it fits with the rest of your artwork.

Are you planning on making enemies and stuff that is similar is style? Or even different color versions of this guy?
darkagent, OK. I see. I can open the BACKGROUNG.ai file, but it seems the ORK.ai file doesn't have anything in it when opened.
